Jindal as President?

Category: , , By El Subliminal
oh boy

The problem with McCain (apart from the fact that he is a repuglican) is that he is old.
So suppose, something were happen to him (hope not), and suppose Jindal was V.P. ,
then that would mean - Jindal as president? Person of Indian descent president of US of A?

If nothing else, this would solve the color divide - instead of going white (Clinton) or black (Obama), we go a neutral brown! woohoo!

This is *almost* a reason for voting republican. *almost*

The debate to repeal the constitutional amendment to allow foreign-born citizens alone would be fascinating...There's been a number of senate hearings over the years on this issue, but no resolution obviously.

Of course, should Obama get the Democratic nomination, you can bet the fascists in Washington, I mean, the Repuglicans will question whether he is American born.

By the way, McCain certainly doesn't need Jindal for the Desi vote. The vast majority of Desis, often wealthier than average and swayed by lower taxes, have flocked to Republicans for years.

    Indeed - unfortunately.

However I don't think this is a ploy for getting desi votes - more for attracting young people as well as blunting the schtick used by Obama - 'my non-white father came to this country, found a future here, raised a family blah blah blah' .

So what? Even Jindal's non-white parents accomplished pretty much the same thing.

Something to say?
